They have access to in-depth knowledge, tools to express their creativity, and people from all over the world. Yet with offering a fascinating, new way to connect with the world, the Internet also offers new risks. The definition of "keeping kids safe" in the 21st Century is very different from what most of us remember in the 1970's, 1980's, or 1990's. At Powell Elementary, we believe it is very important that we include training for all kids on how to navigate the extensive tools offered on the Internet.
